other ways to connect

Welcome to BLACKTOP HORIZON.  I'd like to share with you my joy of making something from nothing, of motorcycles, architecture, camping, travel, machines, and people. 

Motorcycles are beautifully designed and engineered machines that carry us through time and space on a thin blacktop surface into an unknown horizon.  It is along this thin ribbon of highway that we reflect, dance with the elements, and discover ourselves and the world. 

I hope to celebrate the joy of the road, the beauty of nature, the grind (and the sweat) of riding motorcycles, and experiencing everything from foot to the horizon.  Motocamping and traveling to new and sometimes familiar places will be how I set forth in motion.  I look forward to telling stories, hearing your stories, and drawing lines through places in between.
